Reading John 9: 1-17
‘How then were your eyes opened?’ they asked.John 9: 10
Today we return to where we were on Monday, the outer parts of the temple, and the Pool of Siloam. A miracle occurs that demonstrated Christ’s power and love, and what had begun with questions of sin, turns to healing and what is appropriate. The man is left at the middle of the debate, and while it seems his eyes have been opened, it looks as if the Pharisees eyes are firmly closed to what God is revealing. I wonder what our eyes need to be opened to. What would God have us see that we currently don’t? In what ways might we share our faith that others are enabled to find Jesus?
